Having a reliable source of backup power can be a boon, whether you’re at home or out on a camping trip in the wilderness. Worse still is being without power in an emergency like a major winter storm that knocks out the electricity to our homes. The more user input the better the app becomes.So much of our lives completely depend on electricity access that it can be hard to step away from the grid, even when we’re trying to go off grid. Furthermore, you can easily submit new dump locations to us, or inform us of errors on existing dump stations. Or, tap the list view button (first left on bottom) and you'll see a list of dump stations, each with an associated icon. Tap the Filter button (second from left on bottom of map) and not only can you filter which sites to show, but each icon is identified. The icons can be defined in several ways. What I was hoping for was and app that would show me only places that have a dump site, camp ground or other. I can find campgrounds and rest areas fine without the need for an app. I don’t feel it is very accurate as there are a few campground indicated that I know for a fact do not have a dump station. I’m not sure if this is just telling me there is a campground with dumping or just a campground. Typically the dump icon is a camper with an arrow and not just a camper icon. Upon paying and downloading I was immediately confused to the icons given. Just downloaded the app hoping that by paying for one the information would be more and in better detail than others that are free. We will be updating the database often.ĭue to the nature of dump stations constantly changing their status it's recommended you contact the dump station prior to using it to verify its existence.

Get the local weather for the location. View the dump stations in list view easily search the list. Show a route between your location and the selected RV dump station.
